Robin’s home received new insulation, windows, a roof upgrade, solar panels, and an air source heat pump. The results speak for themselves:

As Robin explains, “Every room is the same temperature. My wife hasn’t used a blanket all winter. 

“Thanks to the solar panels, all last summer we had hot water every day - for free and even in winter the panels reduce the need for additional heating.” 

 A change of heart 

Although Robin was initially hesitant, he now describes himself as one of the programme’s biggest advocates, “I was dead against it at first... but now? Put me up there with the top 10 advocates. It’s fantastic.”
