Finding confidence and a new start 

When Amira joined Stay Nimble, she was new to the UK and struggling to find work. She lacked confidence and wasn’t sure where to start. With the support of her career coach, Caroline, she was able to finish her CV, apply for roles, and begin believing in herself again. 

Today, Amira has settled into a more stable job, is building new skills, and has started a career she truly enjoys. She says: “Without Stay Nimble I would have been lost and very stuck. I would recommend anyone to use this service as it has helped me so much with my long-term career.”  

Achieving career goals and qualifications 

For James, the challenge was different. After trying out a few paths, he found himself unemployed and unsure what to do next. He didn’t want to keep “job hopping” without finding the right fit. 

Through Platform, James registered with Stay Nimble and was matched with career coach Jennifer. Together, they identified roles suited to his lifestyle and career aspirations. With her guidance and interview support, James secured a job he enjoys and has gained valuable experience for the future.  

Jennifer also helped James break through a block in his CIPD Level 3 studies, creating a plan that enabled him to finish the qualification successfully. With her encouragement, he has since moved on to CIPD Level 5, while continuing to build confidence in applying for roles and attending interviews.  

James reflects: “Without Stay Nimble and Jennifer I don’t know where I’d be. She has made a huge difference to my life and I’m eternally grateful for her help.”
