Our ambition is to put sustainability at the heart of what we do to create lasting, positive impact for our customers, our communities and for our planet.
We recognise the role we must play in reducing the carbon emissions associated with our activities, decarbonising our homes, enhancing biodiversity and using resources in a way that reduces waste and promotes more responsible outcomes.
We’re making progress on our sustainability journey and are proud to share how we’re aligning our sustainability work to a net zero future and meeting the needs of the communities we serve.

Improving the energy efficiency of our homes
We’re committed to making your home warmer, more comfortable, and more affordable to run. By 2030, every Platform home will meet at least an EPC C rating - meaning lower energy use, lower bills, and a warmer home.
We’re focusing on insulation and ventilation first - making sure heat stays in and homes feel pleasant to live in - before adding renewable technologies like solar panels or heat pumps. We’ve already started, last year 466 homes were upgraded, and 1,201 new homes were built with an EPC B rating or above. This is just the beginning of our investment programme to create homes that feel warm, safe and welcoming.
