Supporting what matters to you
This year, we’ve put even more focus on supporting local projects that make a real difference in the communities where our customers live.
Through our Special Projects funding, we’ve provided 26 grants totalling over £260,000 to charities and community groups working hard to improve lives across our neighbourhoods.
The projects we’ve supported are as varied as the communities themselves – from play equipment and community kitchens to men’s and family counselling, domestic abuse support, and activities that help tackle loneliness and isolation.
We’ve also backed brilliant ideas like community fridges and wellbeing sessions – all designed to bring people together, provide support where it’s needed most, and create safe, welcoming spaces for everyone.

Watch as customers who volunteer at the Droitwich Wellbeing Hub share how our funding is helping to change lives in their community.
Based in an area with a high number of Platform customers, the Hub offers vital support through counselling, peer groups and wellbeing services for those who need it most. Thanks to our Special Projects funding, they’ve been able to grow their team, secure additional funding and reach even more people locally.

We understand that anti-social behaviour, often referred to as ASB, can have a significant impact on your mental health and sense of security, as well as harming your local community. Â
Our dedicated Community Safety team is committed to helping build stronger, safer communities and work with you and local partners to improve community safety, reduce incidents of ASB and take action where necessary.Â
